IB 2022 - REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Team London announces that registration for IB 2022 is open! They thanked the community for their enthusiasm to see Interbourse go ahead in Courmayeur in January 2022.  They also were grateful for understanding that London alone cannot carry the cost of a change in circumstances. Rest assured they will work as hard as they can to recover funds if such an event proves unavoidable. 

2022 is now ‘full steam ahead’ and registration is reopened.  The official dates are January 22nd to 29th 2022, and registration can be made through the website www.interbourse.net. Remember, however, without a strong show of commitment from all of Interbourse in the coming weeks London will not consider the event sustainable in 2022 and will advise a further postponement to 2023  

Those that registered last year do not need to register again; they will be contacted to ensure that details remain correct. 

For those of you who that haven’t already registered, we request that you do so and pay the registration fee as soon as possible and at latest by Friday 10th September. Payment can be made in two ways, by card in £ or electronic transfer in £ or €.  Please note registration will not be considered complete until the payment is made. 

Friday 10th September, is also the key cut off date for the hotels that are holding rooms for us, (with the exception of two hotels and the teams intending to use them have already been notified). As before, you are  free to book your hotel through the Momentum team (loredana@momentumski.com) or directly with a hotel, however we would just note that the rates Momentum have secured are lower than market and of course if circumstances do change you will have their support to resolve any issues.

Dear Captains, Further to my last update, I am writing to keep you in touch with our progress. Out of the total of 258 registrations, during the last few months we have received a number of cancellations for a variety of reasons, most recently driven by concerns about the new variant of COVID. The official cancellations total is 30 so we currently have 228 still registered for the event. We are realistic – we expect this number to fall further. Notably, we have two teams that have indicated they will likely cancel and that would take our total just under our targeted 200 level. Interbourse has enjoyed its tradition for more than 50 years now. PARALLEL SLALOM RACE RULES Participation in the Parallel Slalom is open to all Interbourse participants. 
Competitors must sign up at the Registration.
